COUCH POTATOES DO NOT BODE WELL FOR THE ECONOMY

Look around you. The fact is plain for all to see.

More and more people are staying at home. Consuming food, entertainment, social networking and even hobbies within the four walls of their home.

This is a natural progression that builds on the fact that people are not prone to movement.

Unilad highlighted something that should not be taken lightly.

SEMBMARINE LATE NIGHT STATEMENT

Wow.

BROKER TELL ME MARKET BOH SUPPORT LIAO

A broker told me today the market is broken. I asked why. Didn't STI rise yesterday? He replied yes, but only index stocks. Volume is zilch for others.

Meaning?

The few retailers are just playing amongst themselves with no institutional participation.

Good luck.

DO YOU WATCHLIST?

Some folks just keep watch on the top 30 volume everyday.

Some keep watchlists of stocks they wanna buy, or were butt farked by recently.

Some just keep tonnes of watchlists until they are meaningless.

Kinda reminds me of those people who have countless crappy pennies whom they are long term investors of.

Burn.

STI SLIDING AGAIN?

Everyone likes a rising market. Especially if you are long, like most people.

Nobody likes to be in a sliding market. Unless you are shorting it, unlike most people.

STI is into yet another morning of drop amidst low volume.

Are you in the red yet?

SEMBCORP INDUSTRIES...NOT NICE

SCI's latest NPAT is 30% down. Marine's a big drag.

Methinks they should just spin off the utilities business.

ARA 1Q 2016...ALAMAK

One of the key features of ARA is its ability to generate fees from acquisitions, disposals and performance.

This, apparently, is not stellar at all in 1Q2016. A drop of 67% to $1.8million.

EPS is also down 13%.

Aramak!
